Microsoft has announced a 5% price Increase for Annual Commitment with Monthly Billing effective 1st April 2025

If your business relies on monthly billing for your Microsoft subscriptions, this change will increase your costs at renewal.

How do the Changes Impact my Business?

• All Microsoft Licensing Channels – This price increase applies to Buy Online, CSP, and MCA-E subscriptions.
• Higher Monthly Costs – Monthly billing plans will now be 5% more expensive than annual billing plans, leading to higher costs over time.
• Your Existing Subscriptions – If you’re currently using monthly billing, this price change will apply at your next renewal after 1 April 2025.

What Else is affected?

As per Microsoft’s April Announcement, a 5% price increase will also apply to Monthly Billing on Annual and Triennial subscriptions for the following standalone products.

• Microsoft Teams Phone Standards
• Power BI Pro
• Power BI Premium Per User

Additionally, the month-to-month pricing for these products has also changed.

• Microsoft Teams Phone Standards – Was $14.40 AUD now $18.00 AUD RRP ex GST
• Power BI Pro – Was $18.00 AUD now $25.20 RRP ex GST
• Power BI Premium Per User – $35.88 AUD now $43.08 AUD RRP ex GST
